Serena Leo is a passionate environmentalist dedicated to creating opportunities for each person to build their unique connection with nature.
Serena shares her love of nature through many different avenues, including her work as an educational interpreter with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. Serena has presented her environmental research at national and international conferences, contributed to scientific publications, and shared insights through radio interviews.
She is also an active community organizer who enjoys bringing people together and creating safe spaces. Serena is an organizer for the Toronto Queer Forest Club and supports various sports clubs. She holds a B. Sc. in Biology from University of Ottawa and a M. Sc. in Environmental Sciences from University of Guelph.
