Prerna is an educator and environmental researcher, passionate about fostering regenerative relationships between people and the land. With a Master’s in Education from York University focused on eco-somatic education, she brings an embodied and relational approach to learning.
Prerna’s journey has taken her from the foothills of the Himalayas, where she worked alongside Dr. Vandana Shiva at Navdanya’s farm to steward Earth University, to developing educational programming for Navdanya International, based in Italy, rooted in the interconnected struggles for food, seed, and land sovereignty. She has also co-authored a book with Dr. Shiva on the corporate war against nature and culture.
Prerna loves weaving connections and creating spaces where communities can collectively dream, reimagine, and co-create a more just and thriving world.
