Module 7 Presenter Bio

Kat Gibson has been working in the field of community food security since 2011 and has 9 years of practical experience supporting urban agriculture programming, environmental stewardship and partnership development in Mississauga. Her background in education, environmental sustainability, and transformative learning allows her to design and manage initiatives and programs that support community members in developing tangible skills, developing relationship with nature and engaging with local sustainability challenges.

As the Community Gardens Program Manager at Ecosource, Kat has supported a diverse network of partners and community members in working towards shared goals and objectives, developing and sharing urban agriculture knowledge and skills and taking action in their communities.
