Melyssa has a passion for creating accessible green space and using community-led approaches to build a sustainable future. She holds a degree in Environmental Governance from the University of Guelph, with a minor in Sustainable Business. Melyssa served as the Co-President of the Geography Student Society where she created meaningful connections with the student body and fostered a safe space to talk about pressing environmental issues.
With experience in conservation and environmental education, she now leads workshops in Peel Region, inspiring participants to make sustainable choices that support a circular economy. Melyssa believes that a sustainable future is dependent on our ability to build community and develop a connection to the natural environment.
