Join Ecosource as we welcome Dakota Brant to facilitate a FREE ONLINE workshop as part of the Youth in Action-Credit Connections program.
In this workshop, Teyotsihstokwáthe Dakota Brant (Mohawk, Six Nations of the Grand River) will guide our group through the traditional Haudenosaunee ecological understanding of living in the environment, honouring the Sewatokwá’shera’t (Dish with One Spoon) wampum belt. As a professional Community Planner she knows how important it is to develop your personal facilitation/ project planning skills; she will share some awesome and simple community planning tools to add to our own tool kits!

The Youth in Action – Credit Connections program is a collaboration between Ecosource and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. The program will bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth aged 15-30 years for a series of workshops exploring leadership, stewardship and relationship. Over a 10-month period, participants will attend 20 workshops and be supported to design and lead environmental projects in their communities. Each participant will gain a minimum of 120 valuable hours of experiential learning and skill-building.
