An outdoor team building activity in Mississauga that feeds the community.
WHAT YOUR TEAM WILL DO
- Tour of our 15,000 square-foot market garden, The Iceland Teaching Garden, and introduction to the onsite sustainable urban gardening features
- Interactive session to develop your team’s knowledge about gardening in a changing climate and time to learn new gardening tips and tricks from our experts
- Hands-on garden tasks like planting, watering, harvesting, or building garden structures, with fresh produce donated directly to local food banks and community programs

Cook & Eat Together
A hands-on corporate cooking class in Mississauga with purpose.

- Tour our accessible, multipurpose space which includes a Teaching Kitchen, Outdoor Classroom, Community Garden, and more
- Hands-on cooking session using locally sourced ingredients
- Cook fresh produce into meals for food bank donations
- Sit down together for a catered lunch prepared by the group
- Planting activity with garden experts

Everything You Need to Know
How do I book a corporate team building experience with Ecosource?
Fill out the inquiry form below or email corporate@ecosource.ca. Our team will respond within 3 business days to confirm availability and discuss your group’s needs. We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially for the Grow Local Food experience during peak season (May-October).
What happens if it rains? (Grow Local Food Experience)
The session will happen as planned if there is light rain. Bring your rain gear if the forecast calls for rain. In the case of weather that will affect the safety or quality of the program, we will recommend postponing the session to a later date. We will work with your team to reschedule the session.
Can you accommodate allergies, dietary restrictions, and accessibility considerations?
Yes. Your team members will be asked to fill out a form indicating allergies, dietary restrictions, and accessibility considerations. Our team members will plan the session activities and/or menu with these accommodations in mind.
Is there parking at both locations?
Yes. We will provide information on parking for both locations, including accessibility considerations.
Can we bring more people?
To ensure a fun and safe experience for all, we can accommodate up to 30 participants for Grow Local Food and up to 25 for Cook & Eat Together. We are happy to book multiple sessions with your team to accommodate large groups.
Do you offer team building activities in the winter?
The Cook & Eat Together experience at our Community Climate Hub is available year-round, making it an ideal corporate team building activity in Mississauga during the colder months. The Grow Local Food experience runs seasonally from May through October.
