Ecosource offers FREE, curriculum linked class field trips to Peel teachers and students of all ages interested in enriching learning about sustainability within our community.

 

Visit one of our community garden or urban agriculture sites this spring to learn more about:

  • Pollination
  • Plant and animal life cycles
  • Food security and social justice
  • Aquaponics and watersheds in the garden
  • Healthy eating and healthy ecosystems
  • Composting and soil life
  • Summer volunteer opportunities

Field trip activities can be tailored to meet your students’ needs and the units you are teaching.

Ecosource offers garden field trips to one of our six community food growing sites, as well as busing subsidies where needed to support the cost of bus rentals for students visiting from farther away.
