Interested in getting children outdoors and allowing them to follow their creative instincts? Join us at an outdoor play session for stories, games, and a variety of hands-on activities. Sessions will be hosted throughout the Region of Peel in 2017/2018.
Free play sessions for ages 0-12 focus on encouraging physical activity through self-directed, unstructured play to build confidence, encourage exploration, and foster positive nature experiences. To learn more about outdoor play and the benefits of spending time outdoors in self-directed activity, check out Ecosource’s 2016 project Dig into Play, sponsored by the Lawson Foundation’s Outdoor Play Strategy.
Continue checking this page for upcoming play sessions hosted in parks and green spaces around the Peel Region. If you are interested in having a free play session at your location, or if you would like more information, please contact Stephanie Rivera at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Play sessions offered by the Sustainable Peel-Education and Action for Change (SPEAC) project are generously supported by The Ontario Trillium Foundation. Learn more at www.otf.ca
